A PLACE TO PAUSE. A PATH FORWARD.

You have found your Waystation

We exist to help people rest, remember who they are, reclaim their dignity, rediscover hope and keep going.

About Us

For thousands of years travelers crossed deserts, oceans, climbed mountains and walked long paths. They knew something we may have forgotten today: we cannot make our long journey without stopping to rest and reset.

Every traveler needs a place to pause. Whether you're navigating personal change or leading others through it, there is a place for you here.

Individuals

Life doesn't always unfold according to the map we drew.

Whether you're experiencing burnout, career transition, life challenges, caregiving fatigue, uncertainty, or simply feeling lost along the way, the Waystation Process offers space to pause before taking the next step.

Meet your guide

Julia Roubtsova Hewitt

Julia leverages an experience-rich background spanning corporate strategy, academic teaching, and mental health advocacy, with added focus on trauma-informed resilience work, suicide prevention, and crisis care. She is an Industrial and Organizational Psychology professor and a certified specialist in suicide loss support, trauma healing, and crisis intervention. She considers it a profound privilege to serve as a guide for those visiting Waystation, offering a dedicated space for individuals to find stillness and recalibrate their path.

I appreciated the chance to really think about who I was and what fulfilled me in my early career. We were able to craft a plan to make small next steps towards work that excites me again!

Words From Fellow Travelers

Client Stories

As an empty-nester, the session was so helpful to start thinking about what this new era could mean. It's not all loss and sadness.

I worked with Julia to sit through a devastating loss. Sometimes it helps to have someone in your corner who just feels peaceful and like home. When nothing feels normal, this is nice to rely on.
