Waystation works with infividuals and organizations in the middle of something impactful: a loss, a change, a displacement, a restructure, a merger, a leadership change, a life fracture. The name says it all: a waystation isn't the final destination, it's where you get your bearings before the next leg of the journey.

Life changes and meaningful transition coaching, identity consulting, loss and grief support, suicide loss support, trauma-informed coaching, leadership coaching, succession planning, team assessment and facilitation, and workshops.

What does a typical engagement look like?

It starts with a conversation about your journey. We assess what's actually going on, plain and vulnerable. From there we partner on a plan and create next steps.

What's your background?

25+ years of leadership in corporate, nonprofit and academic spaces, including professor, loss support coach, Executive Director and VP roles leading organizations and individuals through change. Graduate degrees in psychilogy, industrial-organizational psychology, plus doctoral work in leadership resilience.

Is this therapy or counseling?

No. This is a partnership rooted in consulting and coaching. When something surfaces that belongs with a clinician, I'll say so and help you find the right referral.

Do you work with organizations after a loss or crisis?

Yes — workplace grief, sudden absence, and the long tail afterward. Most organizations handle the first week well and the next six months poorly. That's usually where I'm most useful.

Are you remote or in person?

Both. Workshops and facilitation tend to land better in person; coaching and advisory work fine virtually.
